French Toast Girl

We are having much construction done on our house. Yesterday was the long-awaited day when they laid the carpeting.... (at last!) I drew a tiny heart with our initials in it and the words "true love" next to it in the corner of our bedroom. It matches the heart I put in the cement in the foundation, way back in August when all this began. I like the idea that a little symbol of our love is in the very foundation of the house, just like our love is the foundation for everything...our marriage, the house, our family.... And today they spoke the beautiful words, "when we put in the fireplace next week..." Yahoo!
